That’s what we at the Asyl­um Cen­ter Tübin­gen are com­mit­ted to. As an inde­pen­dent orga­niza­ti­on, we pro­vi­de coun­seling for refu­gees who need sup­port. With us, you’ll find gui­dance, com­mu­ni­ty, and edu­ca­tio­nal oppor­tu­ni­ties. You are warm­ly wel­co­me!

Counseling

We offer coun­seling on the fol­lo­wing topics:

  • Ori­en­ta­ti­on and social par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on
  • Let­ters from aut­ho­ri­ties, appeals
  • Sup­port in the asyl­um pro­cess
  • Opti­ons after a rejec­ted asyl­um appli­ca­ti­on
  • Resi­dence per­mit appli­ca­ti­ons and exten­si­ons
  • Tole­ra­ted stay (Dul­dung), right to remain, secu­ring resi­dence sta­tus
  • Sett­le­ment per­mit and paths to natu­ra­liza­ti­on
  • Fami­ly reuni­fi­ca­ti­on
  • Work, voca­tio­nal trai­ning, and school
  • Pla­ce­ment in Ger­man lan­guage cour­ses
  • Crea­ting job appli­ca­ti­on docu­ments
  • Reco­gni­ti­on of edu­ca­tio­nal qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons

Get Involved

Would you like to sup­port refu­gees and con­tri­bu­te to our orga­niza­ti­on? We offer many oppor­tu­ni­ties for vol­un­teer enga­ge­ment:

  • Help at Café Inter­na­tio­nal, e.g. coo­king tog­e­ther, sports pro­grams, or child­ca­re
  • Teach others how to sew in the sewing café “Grü­ner Faden” (“Green Thread”)
  • Join our vol­un­teer group that plans acti­vi­ties and events
  • Inter­pre­ta­ti­on (good Ger­man skills requi­red)
